Outbound mail
Outbound SMTP ports 25, 465 and 587 are blocked by default, which protects the platform's mail reputation. If you need to send mail directly from your server, open a ticket and tell us what you are sending; we open it for legitimate use, usually within a few hours. Sending through a provider's HTTP API, such as Postmark, SendGrid or Amazon SES, works without any change.
